I've been wanting one of these for a while, a super tall Varsity!

Plans include converting to 5 speed, brooks saddle, touring bars, and maybe fenders. And I think I have an earlier varsity decal for it too. :mrgreen: -Adam

Good plan, but if it were mine my build list would include: pedal blocks.

Nice, I've got a '79 Green one similar to it I'm selling. I'm just too short to ride it....lol

LOL, I'm going to replace the rat traps with bow pedals too. I'm 6'5", so I don't think I'll need a ladder to get on it! :lol: -Adam

After I bought this one, I saw a sweet campus green one on ebay, I was like aw. man! :lol: -Adam

Those tall Varsitys are the best, I used to own a green one.

I just sold my green one this morning, it was the campus green, that bright lime campus green. Love the color. Wonder where I could buy the paint to do another smaller Schwinn like it.... :mrgreen:

technically speaking, campus green is the darker metallic green. The lime green was actually called lime green in the Schwinn catalog. Plus the seafoam looking color called opaque green. -Adam
