So there’s been some progress made. Ideale saddle, Takagi cranks, DiaCompe levers, grips (thanks @Dizzle Problems), Shimano pedals, and Suntour thumb shifters. Next up derailleurs front and rear, chain, and cables!

What a great idea to run a 26 front wheel. I have an old Specialized hotrock 24 sitting around doing nothing .....

This is a very fast way to spread a fork. Coarse threads on the furniture clamp move the jaws apart fast. Lots of leverage if you put a pipe over the crank arm.
