I have a Schwinn Cruiser 6 that looks similar but with a 3 piece crank.
Has a Giant date code on it. G0186 (January 1986).
I removed the front reflector bracket, new tires, replaced the spoke protector with one from an earlier Chicago Schwinn lightweight (varsity/conti).
Cycle Pro was a marketing name, not a manufacturer. Their items would have been outsourced. Name owned by a USA based bikes & parts distributor. I have a vague memory that it was created when a certain distributor lost their name brand due to too many sales. (ie, paying some sales people more in commissions that they were happy about.) Or maybe it was as the bike boom was dying out. Well some memories aren't as strong as I wasn't in charge of buying for the bike shop and I remember bikes far better than I remember sales people.
Some of those sprockets above look like they were made by Huffy or AMF or are knockoffs. Sprocket designs are often like finger prints but can you patent the shape of the cutouts or copyright them as art? When an USA company contracts for outsourcing the manufacturer can use the company's designs.
