Hello friends,

While build off 6 is going on strong and taking a lot of my time I would like to also show everyone my new side project. I about peed of myself when I saw that the new Vintage BMX sub forum opened up! So this is what I have, an early 80's Schwinn Predator chromo frame I bought for $50 on eBay about a week ago. Its in mint condition and I plan to build it up like new. I doubt I will do a full restoration so you will just have to see whats in store!

Awesome...will be fun to watch someone else go down this path.
I hope it will be fun. I know that BMX is much more different than Rat Rods. Do you have any pictures of these bikes already built?

Update #1

First of all I received my parts I traded for from gold street customs and they turned out better than I expected. I love the bars and the post. I'm trading walker for a set of white skyway tuff mags and a white seat to go along with the baby blue an white color scheme.

Re: 1982 Schwinn Predator-Cromo (Diacompe MX900 brakes!)

Found a nice surprise when taking parts off the parts bike. Yes, these will find their way on the bike. I ordered two replacement Diacompe stickers to replace the non existent ones. 8)
