1983 Univega Cruiser 500 resto project

Working on a resto project - 1983 Univega Cruiser 500. 5 speed, 24" wheels. It's the bike on the work stand. The one in front is my 83 Univega Alpina Sport.

I am trying to get the Cruiser 500 back to all original. I'm close ... just need a few things: original front wheel (36 spoke, painted black); fluted seat post, and seat post clamp.

Almost done ... all I need is the correct front wheel ... 24" steel, 36 spoke.

Finally completed the resto. Rides great, lije a brand-new bike, after 39 years !
