That's the third '84 Mongoose I've seen in the last three days. I didn't jump on either one because I just bought a Haro Revo for $25. The other two sold for $40.

Very cool score Steve!
The Rim strips on the pro Class's are 2 colors already.
they are showing Black now, and most likely are a different Color
on the inside.

Your Haro sitting in the background looks like it's been through the cleaning routine too.
You need to post some "after" pictures on that thread so we can see how that one turned out.

I'm waiting on a set of grips to come in the mail and then I'll post the final detail shots.
The chrome wheels cleaned up really well.
The only real negative to the bike is the paint fading from the sun.
