I know a lot of people go minimalistic on their Finished Threads. Sorry, I can't do that after pouring so much work into the build. Here are the results.

It came out perfect, as expected, but I'm still waiting for you to do something with that Girvin, I miss it. The springer is right for the build, but the Girvin worked with those wheels so well

Each time I look I find another neat thing I didn't see before, it's a real Easter egg of a bike . Today I saw the grips . I gotta say when I first saw the wheels against the frame I really was not sure . Bold moves that really paid off . Love it !

Thanks man, the little details are part of the fun with these builds. I was super excited when the wheels actually fit the frame. From that point on, there was no question I was gonna make it work.

Speaking of fun. I thought it would be fun to show some comparison pics of SteamRoller before disassembly for paint and after paint. Enjoy.

Congratulations on the big win. At one point we were tied, then you slowly pulled away. Guess I could have added paint, but the shine just isn’t in my game. Great looking bike, well done. Some surprising results down the final vote list, good participation this year.

Thanks! It was a neck and neck race for sure with us briefly being tied around 30 votes on the 2nd day of voting. You kept it close the entire race though. You definitely should NOT have added paint to the Bradley (its patina was too perfect). We have to be true to what our builds tell us they want us to do. Mine told me to paint it and I learned some new tricks in the process.

These build offs and the creative collective that is formed pushes us to go beyond what any of us would build alone. Your build definitely pushed me to elevate my work. Thanks for being such a worthy opponent and competitor (and for building such a cool trike). Congrats again on a fun build off!!!
