I've seen just the hubs go for $60 so I would think that is fair depending on the condition. I'd still try to haggle a bit though, mention any loose spokes, rust on the rim, spin it and check for true, axle play, anything to nitpick over and lower the price.

What are we talking about exactly? Just the hub? a complete wheel?
Which kickback hub? There's several manufacturers, some of which have several varieties.

Cool hubs, though, every one of em. I like ones with a direct gear and an overdrive rather than the ones with a direct gear and a bailout...
