20 minute klunker

My parents got this 1988 Schwinn cruiser from a garage sale. I combined it with some parts from Wally world BMX and mountain bikes to create a klunker.

Left-over parts!

Made some changes. I have some red anodized rims to put on it. I would also like to get some shorter crank arms.

Really cool. Is that an original sprocket or a new Pork Chop "Chop Saw"?

The stem and front sprocket are from Porkchop BMX. I am had trouble finding handle bars to fit the stem. It is supposed to fit 1" bars but, I think it is more like 7/8". I ended up hammering the bars into a oval shape to fit the stem better.

The sprocket that looks like a Imperial is actually a old stamped steel Shelby.

I have the rims and the hubs but, I still need to order spokes.

This bike continues to evolve. I love riding it! I still need to clean-up where I welded in a new mount for the rear brake.
