I am selling this 2013 Felt MP Cruiser (army-inspired style) that is in great condition and included wonderful gearing and brake upgrades.
  • Bike has been ridden only three times for special events - less than 30 miles total on the bike.
  • It's spent it's entire life hanging in my home's temp-controlled storage area.
  • Excellent condition - perfect working order. Just a few scrapes and paint chips due to storage and moving it around. (See photos for examples of the scrapes/chips on rear fender, chainstay, front rim from hanging hook)
  • With the expanded gear range and great braking, this bike is a joy to ride compared to many other cruisers. And the styling catches a lot of interest from on-lookers
Details:
  • Upgraded from stock 3-speed to a Shimano Nexus 8-speed internally geared hub (model SG-8R36 hub) provides a gearing range that offers easy pedaling over a variety of terrain; Uses twist-shifter.
  • Shimano Nexave rear Roller Brake (model BR-IM70-R) offers better braking power and control
  • Front Sturmey Archer X-FD front drum brake hub offers tons more braking than stock. Stock, the bike did not have a front brake
  • Springer front fork
  • Super-wide 50mm aluminum rims with stainless steel spokes. Re-laced with the upgraded hubs by a professional mechanic.
  • Felt Quick Brick tires 26x2.125
  • Hydro-formed steel tank frame
  • Rear rack with Felt MP bags
  • Front light with upgraded LED bulb
I am offering this bike, which has all of the upgrades installed and professionally-adjusted, for $575 or best reasonable offer.

I am located in Delaware (zip code 19707) which is close to both Philadelphia and Baltimore. I prefer to sell this locally as it would be large and heavy to pack and ship (long wheelbase, fenders, etc). However, if shipping is required, I would consider having it packed and shipped at your cost.

Hi ya - what a wonderful looking bike. Kicking myself that I missed it but hey ho. Wondering if you’ve anymore in your stable…

All the very best.

Thanks for the message, Gordy, The new owner of the Felt MP was extremely excited to have bought it. They only other fun/cruiser bike I have is this 1958 Schwinn Typhoon built up as a grown-up Stingray style (26" wheels).

It's listed in the For Sale forum with a ton of photos. Let me know if it interests you or you have any questions about it. https://ratrodbikes.com/forum/threa...stom-banana-seat-style-many-new-parts.114958/

Hi ya Dal. Thanks for the reply; really appreciate it. Sadly though this is not the bike for me unlike the MP. Needless to say though that I am grateful to you dropping a line. Wishing you much luck with this sale. Should you come across anything else you think may be of interest then please do drop me a line.
Take good care my friend.

Have any idea of the measurement of the hub diameter in regards to spokes and what length spokes they installed. I'm upgrading mine to 8speed coaster and hoping to take a short cut in ordering spokes if possible

Sorry - I don't have a record of what spokes were used. I know the front hub was a direct match, so I re-used the spokes. I don't recall if I was able to re-use the rear spokes or if I purchased new ones.

Thanks for sharing. I am installing the 8speed nexus igh with coaster brake. It is larger hub diameter, so will need shorter spokes. Will probably have to measure ERD and hub to get the necessary spoke length. Was just thinking it might be the same as this one. Just want to swap it over as soon as possible to test out the 8speed on some hills.

Oh, thanks, I didn't know the ERD was 540mm. I'll confirm mine is because it would be a frustrating mistake to make! Have to take more measurements then i can order the parts
