Good God!! If that thing doesn't scream Rat as is, I don't know what does. Clear it.....assemble it....and ride the wheels off it!
Awesome. The way badge is shaped it's a Western Flyer bike and one of the pics the serial numbers under the bottom bracket shows it's made by Murray. It's maybe 57 & older
From what I can see from that pic the serial looks like 36X10 M.O T- V 150950 so someone here who knows the exact year.

36 = model number
X10 = sold through Western Auto. ie Westernflyer.
M.O T - V = 1956.
Here is a blurry catalog pic from a Murray catalog. At least you can see what it once resembled. Would make a killer rat though.
