I actually decided I was more into the older bikes and have started to look for one pre 60's... I still haven't found a bike yet, but am only looking part time as I work 60+ hours a week.

WOW that was a nice bike. I have that same bike, but in a #2 condition if that was a 9 or a 10. Payed $10 for it.

Nothing like reviving an old thread but....this looks a lot like the bike I looked at yesterday.....three years later.

Here is a 58-59 Strato Flite that I found yesterday.
Seller wants $500. Value in this OG condition should be about $300 full retail.
But, in this condition which is amazing....$350 is a price to the buyer that is doable to a collector that has to have it.....hmmmmm?
I of course offered $225 and was rejected quickly.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.... its a lot on money for a middleweight.

Very nice condition. I would try to see if there is wiggle room, but if they are stuck on the price, I would pull the trigger.

Dead thread, but still a cool bike! A lot like the Golden Flyers. I have one of those bugeye tanks. I just need a Flightliner frame to put it on.

We just got the ladies one of these, not as nice but the only thing missing is the tail light lens.
