I've got a triax junk frame I was going to use the rear suspension from. Did you just bolt the crank spindle to the dropouts as is with the existing screws?

Yes. I had to spread the back end out about a 1/2 inch for the spindle to fit in....then I just bolted it together! I used the crappy kind of spindle with the male threads amd the female nut, usually these kind of bottom brackets suck, but for this application they work better because the male threaded post acts as the axle and it fits perfect! GERRY D. FBK.

AAH HAAA!!! now thats what i been lookin for to do a super stretch on my bike "number of the beast" ill be posting up pics soon, havent started because im workin on other stuff but its gonna be an evil son of gun! thanks for the idea!
