26" STRETCH CRUISER (LIVE FROM THE 505)

I got a stretch 26 " cruiser about 4 years ago when my oldest was learning to ride a bike. wanted to be able to ride with him but not have a 1 of 10million made bike. this is what i started with in 04/05. it was all black with the flame graphix. had the black walls not white walls. stripped the decals and cruised it like that for about 2 years. then my son got in a hulk phase so the bike transformed to green. got new bars. they were actually off a harley. did a painted in tank in black and left the tins black. about 6 months ago it started the transformation again this time to red. got some huge apes then switched they down a couple sizes. started mocking up a tank you can see it on the green one. it will soon be done it is cut. im in the process of polishing it so it can be cleared and welded in. there will also be a twisted bumper in front soon. any feedback is great. likes/dislikes/ideas lay it on me. thanks for checking it out. Why are you making me look bad already... ha! We'll have to take some shots of the bikes together at work and post them... Your's already looks good, the whole reason I got mine, but it's going to look sick with the tank welded in.

here are some more updates on the progress. decided ill paint the tank instead of getting down on polishing it seeing as how the welder is a little hot lol. got it welded all in then smoothed it all out and ran some bondo over the welds to kinda blend it into the contour of the bike. the main part will be all satin black, the zia red, and the middle circle yellow. more to come on that. (big al, huero fabulous) i was born and bleed 505 grew up in santa fe. im stationed in tucson with the air force but ill be back soon and well hit the calle for sure.

so i stripped some of the paint off the bike cause we melted it a little with the welder haha. i decided i might go another route. instead of red i might blend it from red to black. paint the front fender red and then break it up where the paint meets in yellow or white. still cant decide on that part. im thinking i might paint the crank also. ideas/feedback always welcome. thanks for checking it out.

thats a bad ass bike. looks like it belongs in an add for the bonneville salt flats. looks like its going mach 1 parked haha. i like the detail. good work on the mods. maybe one day ill be on that level. what you doing for paint or is it the color its gonna be.

go with some crazy extreme color. kinda old school with sponsor stickers like they did on the old race cars.

so here is the somewhat finished product. i still have to put some touches on the chainguard and im debating painting the fron fender red with a black zia(opposite the back). well see how it goes down. anyways feel free to lay down the feedback good or bad. thanks. peace out till next time.

put a small touch on the chain guard. used an old license plate i had hanging in the garage.
