27 in tire how wide do they make

what r the widest 27 in tires available im looking for like 27x1.50 0r 27x1,750 ? and were can I get them . thanx for the help

just click on the link above the ebay links, BUYBIKETIRES AMAZON. punch in 27 inch tires in the search. seems like they only go up to 1.5 wide but just keep scrolling, i only checked the first 4 pages though. merry christmas! :mrgreen:

all I can find in ebay is like 27x1.375

I thought that 27's are 27 1/14 and that was it. for years that is all I have seen and bought from several LBS's and on line. They are skinny. Go 700c, the fat ones they call 29er's. get cruiser tires and your set.

I'm pretty sure the widest is 27x 1 3/8. However these have cyclocross tread. If you want more sizes go 700c as mentioned
