Hey Matti. I moved the pics of the 26” bikes the right place.@ingola you seeing these beauties? That Kos with the 3 speed freehub, the Red Menace... The Quadangles on the previous page, this is good stuff here.
My mind's reeling I have another frame like Canadian metal and I know it fits a 29er@ingola you seeing these beauties? That Kos with the 3 speed freehub, the Red Menace... The Quadangles on the previous page, this is good stuff here.
That is outstanding!I think this project is now done. Race Inc RA29. Redid the graphics, swapped the bars for Cook Bros Ti cruiser bars and the seat for a real San Marco Regal. 23.7 lbs of radness.View attachment 218385View attachment 218386View attachment 218387View attachment 218388
Thanks. Best deal out there for weight/strength/cost combo I could find.Looks great. Love those xpedo pedals!
Back in the day I could ride wheelies pretty well. Then I didn't ride for ages and when I finally got back on a new mtb I could barely get the front wheel off the ground. I thought maybe I had completely lost it, but a guy I was with claimed modern frame geometries made it harder to do? I dunno...I picked up a Framed 29er from a guy on Craigslist for $200 BNIB in January after resisting for a month. I rationalized giving in to my bicycle addiction as a way to learn to ride wheelies since I never learned. I can wheelie well enough to clear obstacles but have admired people that can loft the front wheel for blocks, no matter the surface.
They will look at you funny in the ER when you tell them you were pulling wheelies. Especially when you are over 50. I severely sprained my knee and ankle at the same time and couldn't walk it off. I was doing fine until it came over on me.
