3 speed Sturmey with coaster clicks while pedaling.

When pedaling along, particularly in middle or high gear the hub clicks. Its not slipping, and its not the same click it makes when it freewheels. Does anyone have any experience with this, is it normal?

Yes that's normal.

It could be just a little out. My sturmey stays pretty quit compared to say nex 3

give the indicator chain half a turn it sounds like its just not quite shifting down the main colar properly, whens the last time it was topped up with oil ?

I oiled it a few days ago, and it leaked out what it didn't need. I'll play with the indicator chain and see if it makes any change.
