36 Hiawatha

This thing popped up today. Needs seat post tube. I think I can get the repair on my own. It can’t be any worse than the X53 I have been messing with. Any thought or insight? I’m picking up in the next day or so. Thanks

Looks very good hanging on the wall. That may be the best place for it. If not in the living room, in a den or other recreation area would be ideal for it.

It's perfect for a class 2 build, as there would be no regrets about chopping up a good frame.

I also like a good challenge, if something like that popped up locally cheap...I'd grab it.

Ya, I’m getting it dirt cheap. I think I can revive it in some way shape or form. I’m sure getting rid of some of the hardware will cover the cost of the frame and fork.

I used to have a 37 Shelby and it’s frame was very close to that

So the badge is incorrect or did they manufacture for Hiawatha?

Hiawatha was a store brand for Gambles Hardware. Many manufacturers used, but Shelby seemed to be one of their favorites.
