Hi,

Great looking bike.

I wondered... What is your posture like on this bike?

Do you lean forward more than on a cruiser for example?

Wish 3G had more UK presence.

Thanks,
Chris

Cool design all around. Are the grips his own production?

Actually, I'm not real sure where he gets his grips. He's got connections with all of the manufacturers so he may just buy those for these bikes.

With you being a tall guy, this bike might be a good choice.

3G bikes tend to be on the large size to begin with. Raising the seat post up and adjusting these bars should make the bike fit you.

Right, and there is a 3G bikes dealer on St.Simons island where we happen to be spending our vacation this year!

Are 3G bikes made in the U.S.?

Nah...China like all other bike companies these days.

Gary lived in Taiwan for 11 years when he owned Phat Cycles and oversaw all of the manufacturing.

When he started 3G he designed all of his own frames and has them made specifically for him.

He just returned from a 2 week trip over there giving them all of his new product designs.

His wife is actually from Taiwan and she spends most of the year over there helping him run the company.

Well I really like this bike but $550 is a little price for my budget.

But maybe I can use some college money to help out with the "transportation" this bike would provide going class to class!:)

Very cool looking bike - lots of very different details to make it stand out from the usual hybrid/comfort bikes, and actually make it look cool, instead of like a geezer bike.
What's your impression of the ride and handling?
