40's hawthorne from original owner

i got this 40's hawthorne girls 26" today from the original owner dirt cheap sad to buy it from her but she wasnt gonna do anything with it. would like to try and found out what year it is other than just 40's era also she had told me it was blue in color with some white would like to know a paint code and how it wouldve looked originally other than that tell m what you think

i figured i would do that for a while, actually i bought it for my girl she is into old cars like me she just seen it right now and she digs it... but any info on color and what not for later would be appreciated
