$450,000 is the most I'll pay for a bike.

This is old-world, spare-no-expense craftsmanship at its finest and it takes a master artisan-scientist to do it.
:21:

It doesn't even have hydro brakes.... I wouldn't pay a penny over $499,950 for it.

Rofl. And i thought surlys were overpriced before.

Things of note:
0 feedback seller.
Says proceeds go charity.(bs most likely)
$3000 bike with maybe a few grand in gold plating.(the amount of gold needed to plate stuff is very tiny)
Says it has black diamonds and saphirres; ok what size and grade? That makes a huge difference. I can buy lab gems all day long for peanuts.

But hey, there's a ton of people out there with more money than brains.

Who cares that it can go in snow or sand? Would anyone ever ride this? My guess is no.

Personally, I think the gold plated hutch bmx is cooler anyway...

It appears that you are not the seller's target market. I'm starting a savings plan and hoping to have enough saved to buy this bike by the end of 2074. It will be baloney and crackers only until then but I think it will be worth the wait.
Did you factor inflation into that?
If not it might be 3014 before you have the money lol.
