46' Ludwig and a mid 30's Hawthorne

A couple of CL finds. A '46 Huffman built Ludwig and a '36ish Cleveland Welding built Hawthorne.

Cool Ludwig. We ride past 1621 Race St. on our thursday night rides, it's now a pool hall. I'll have to take a picture of the building sometime.

Hm, I always assumed the Ludwig bikes were built by Cleveland Welding, since it shares the same badge shape. But that one is definitely a Huffman built bike.

I always thought the same thing also....til I saw this one. This past weekend I had the opportunity to see 2 more Ludwig badged Huffmans. I'm hoping to bring one of them home.
