The HPVF webpage gives no mention about a 2013 date, yet someone posted a date on RRB? Based on this uncertainty, I agree with you Stevil, perhaps we should focus on riding our Ayer Flatlanders at the Northampton Bike Fest instead.
 
I searched my Googles today and found them how I left them. Sorry that some people feel it's not real........... whatever airs your tires. Life's good and bad gets in our faces and there's not enough time to do all the rides and events. I have had a great time this summer with my family and I brought a bike everywhere I traveled even though I missed some events. So ride on brothers and sisters, may your wheels run true.

Trying to figure out how to pack the trailer :? . The Shadow will ride center and all the other bikes will lean against it........ I hope. The way I see it if I pack it evenly the left side will compensate the right side. I will bring a swing bike, the Grunge Rudge, a few others and another tall bike for those who can ride double highs but the Shadow has but one rider and he will give that bad boy a ride.

How about if we forget about the HPVF and ride our Ayer Flatlanders on the trail in Ayer anyway!

We’ll make it a NERRB Event from Ayer on the Nashua River Rail Trail to its terminus on Gilson Road, Nashua and back. (~25-miles total) We’ll make several stops along the way on this laid-back ride for food and drink.

If the HPVF happens – fine – if doesn’t – oh well! – at least we rode our Flatlanders as planned!

It's real. Sorry about the website, folks. Fixed. (Ryan was creating a new website because he didn't like the design of the old one and for some reason thought "hpvf.org" would be easier to type than "friendsofthenashuariverrailtrail.com/humanpoweredvehiclefestival/". But he got sidetracked partway through, and both of us lost track.)

As to the shift (back) to Saturday, we held it on Saturday the first two years, then tried Sunday in response to requests from a few bike shops whose staff couldn't attend on Saturdays because they're too busy. But we got no more attendance from them than we had on Saturday, and we lost a bunch of people who can't do Sundays. So it's back to Saturdays for the foreseeable future.
