1960 Schwinn Tornado that is. Just threw it together today.

What did you use to seal the frame? It looks great!

What did you use to seal the frame? It looks great!

I used a pocket knife to scrape the 3 re-sprays off down to the grey primer that was just above the original paint, easy off oven cleaner to remove the grey and some of the original red, a copper wire brush and copper wool to distress it evenly and get into all the little nooks and crannies, and some Rustolium gloss clear to seal it.

Beautiful bike, that finish is striking. 8)
And the seat looks perfect on it.

Did you spray or foambrush the clear?
