5/16" axle in a 3/8" dropout?

Can you bush it out? Are there spacers like that at your hardware store? I can't imagine it's safe to run a 5/16" in a 3/8" dropout, though the fork I'm using has those little ears, the nuts would have to come off quite a ways for it to come out.

If you tighten them properly with axle washers that fit within the "keepers" there should be no issues. Put flange nuts on there if it bothers you. :|

That is only .03125" per side of the axle. I would say that is well within the tolerances of most common bikes. No drama, no worries.
