Could you clear coat the Camaro?
Yes :Anything can be clearcoated.
But,no need ; can see self reflection in it now. Clear isl to protect paint from UV rays. So starring model really doesn't need clear. I usually put clear on them if I use decals I shoot over the whole thing with clear... just to have a code of paint over decals.
The camaro has 16 coats of red. So: plenty for a show/shine buff.

man, where do all these models go? I've had to stop buying/modding diecasts cuz I don't even have room for them, and they are small.
That’s inspiring. My younger brother had a weird idea during all the covid craziness to buy a semi tow truck brand new. Which involved flying equivalent from new york to Oregon to pick up the trucks and driving them back through the real outback to avoid all the border and zone bans on movement. Needed one bought 2. And 2 years later word of mouth still keeps him on the road working more days than he wants.
I can get more good reference photos next I see him. Thought building a custom model copy might be a good 60th present (which would give me a couple of years to get her dun)
