Picked this thing up a couple of weeks ago but just got around to finishing up going through it and cleaning. I thought this bike was a brownish red but it turns out that its just reddish red :lol:

Wheels look to be original. I have someone that may be interested in it but if they pass its going to the swap on Sunday and hopefully not coming home.

Its ok as much as I like Columbias . Im out of room at them moment & I bought another bike today.. :mrgreen:

Man, that wet sanding sure did the trick! I may just have to find the time to do that on my 54. I think mine is a browner red than you started with, but still probably worth the effort.

Great work! I have a blue frame from that era, but it's missing one of the dropouts! Must've not been welded right and fell off! :shock: -Adam
