got this yesterday,52 b6 with locking springer,did everyone repaint their bikes when we were young?

In 65 years, all it takes it one fleeting moment of weakness to repaint a bicycle and incur the scorn of collectors for the rest of that bicycle's life.

You're lucky it's just ONE repaint! I have a 30s ladies Schwinn frame that's been painted about 8 different colors! Also had a wartime lightweight that Ozzmonaut bought, that had 1/4" of paint in the nooks & crannies!!! -Adam
