53 the world. fresh refind with new head light and taillight

This is one of my first old bike that I picked up a couple years ago from a scrap pile at a car repare shop for 5 bucks and when I went to look at it I wasent even sure if it was a schwinn it but when I went in to give the guy his 5 bucks he gave me the head badge and I was floored. All I realy did to it at the time was powder coat the rims,crank and bars it dident come with fenders and the stem was rusted bad and in back wards. So I was really happy when I got a phone call a couple weeks ago and was asked if I wanted to buy it back for 20 bucks I said I will be over in 10 mins when I picked it up the front rim was blown out and no seat and no bars but I did not care so this is what I have done with it hope you like it

That's how it was looking before I got rid of it. And this is it now.

And I also picked this lamp up too

All I used was a I part of a pedle for the bracket for the fender braces

Very cool pictures, but it looks incredibly uncomfortable to ride. No offese meant, but are you pretty short? Because that bottomed out seat looks like it would be like riding my daughter's 16" :shock:

Yea I'm 6"1 and about 190 I was thinking the same thing about it. but the weather here in grand haven mi is 59 degrees and rainy so it melted the snow away so I was able to take her out for a ride after work and it really wasn't a bad ride believe it or not its like all my other bikes they all have apes but my son really likes it so he might get it but who knows.
