The seat come out beautiful ! Really enjoyed recovering it. I did have some help with fitting the leather to the pan. It helps when you have someone with 25 years of experience recovering furniture.

I'd say yes on recovering your seat, but after redoing several of these old saddles. I understand why upholsterers charge so much, it's exceedingly time-consuming work. That doesn't always work out, I was a little bit short on one of the lips of the seat. Will see how it holds up hopefully I won't have to redo it.

The leather I used is really nice raw leather, that's very lightly dyed Brown. So it's scuffs and scratches pretty easily. Which I don't mind I like the old baseball glove look.

Nice work Scribbs! That diamond cutting around the edge really helps with the puckers. Will remember that for next time.

I completely switch up the bars grips and stem, keeping my bell on.

Love the Scribble resto-tina treatment. Perfect way to do up an old bike. I was cracking up when I saw you cleaning the whitewalls because there is a thread where somebody was trying to stain his. You could have sold him your dirt off yours...
