I thought you guys might like to see this bike as well before it bites the dust. I picked up a '66 Fury just over a week ago and I'm wondering if I'm the only one with one of these? I haven't found any pictures except for a couple of catalog scans. Part of me wonders if this something I should save or dismantle and part out? It is a ladies frame and in rough but very complete condition. Right down the rare green Huffy script grips and two-tone blue and white bucket seat. The big issue is, as always, house paint. Although it smells like, feels like, and possibly may have been, airbrushed automotive paint.
I just wanted to ask before I dismantle this and once I start, there is no stopping me. I have 4 bikes that will get its parts. All Silver Jets. I proabably will gut this 'ole girl out this weekend, maybe sooner. Aw heck, when I get around to it!
