I took it totally apart and I'm going to scrub and refurbish it (survivor) style.Its nice enough to keep as is I suppose.

Wow...quite a score indeed. :shock:

Looks like a quick spray down with some Simple Green and then some dish soap and water would do wonders for that bike.

I bet it looks like new when you finish with it.

Very nice bike.It looks like everything is cleaning up great.You will have a super nice bike when you get it all back together.
Keep on posting pictures it is cool to see progress.

Other than a final polish of the chrome and wax of the paint -she,s done!!!!!!!!!!!! refurbished nicely!I'll get better outdoor pics soon,these arent so great.

So stoked for you. Finds like this can be compaired to adopting a dog and giving it a "Forever" home! Well, just sayin', that the love is there in both cases.
 
I love this bike!!!
The only sad thing is (and good thing for you), is that it looks like the kid never even had fun with this bike back in 1973!!!!!!! :p :mrgreen:

Yeah LOL.
Even the horn mount was on it but the horn was missing.Rear tire is rideable and super pliable.I dont think he used it much.
