For such a simple build it’s moving slooooow. My work schedule is holding me up.

On a positive note. I’m ditching the S-7 rear rim in favor of a 3speed rim. ind-chuckz whipped me up a rear rim for it. Now it’s time to choose some tires for it.

Tires I’m considering,
I doubt I’ll go gumwall

What's the size difference (width wise) between the rear and the front tires?

I really like the cleaned and polished original paint and chrome parts. Have you considered lacing that hub in the original wheel?

I wanted a wider rim for the rear. I bought a rim to speed things up. My original plan was only to use vintage parts. BUT my work schedule has been hectic and I really want to finish on time. Maybe at a later date I might go with skinny tires all the way around. I love mantaray and fastbacks. I could see this thing becoming a 5speed in a later version
