'74 Schwinn Breeze Find - NEW PICS update 10/4

I picked up this yellow Schwinn Breeze today. It needs a little bit of work, no biggy. I love cleaning up chrome! Some of the rust is pretty bad but I think I can save all of it. The seat is almost mint. I'll probably end up selling it. :wink:

Hey, the decals are in good shape and that chrome will probably all come back pretty fair. Looks like the reflectors are all present too, should be fun to see how this one cleans up! 8)

Thanks Skoda. I also knew it had potential.

I cleaned & tuned it up a couple days ago but mother nature hasn't given me an opportunity to take pictures until today. It turned out far from perfect but came a long way.

Did I not mention that this bike rides perfect? You can't beat the way an old Schwinn rides. 8)

Now I'm not sure if I should keep this one or let it go. I have a soft spot for yellow Schwinns. :wink:

Looks good.

I usually wire wheel or sand the fender braces and kickstand and clear coat them, they look much better without the rust.

r them the same fenders if so how did u clean em? looks awsome man good work

Thank you Mike! They are the same fenders. I used S.O.S. pads to get the rust off however there is some rust pits left behind, not a big deal. I used a total of seven S.O.S. pads on this bike. :shock:
