A small detail. When I got to looking closely at the top of this lantern, I really liked the graphic. I wondered if there was a way to incorporate it onto the bike?

So I cut it into a plate, and tacked it on the bottom bracket. Why not?

Great re-use there. Years from now someone is going to be searching for other Homart Explorer bikes.

Added a spoon brake to the rear wheel. Not sure that this is its final form. I may take off the metal foot, and place a rubber one there, so it won't rub on the tire so much. still, it now stops, when it didn't before, so that part works.

Seat and brake are cool.
I didn't notice those skull dropouts before.

Dig the spoon brake...wonder if you could just attach some old tire tread somehow

Digging that brake!
One question, where did you get those pedals? I need a set.
Cheers,
Dr. T

Those pedals are off of one of those copper tone Schwinn excercycles. Those things have a bunch of cool parts on them.

Martian is correct Dr. T. I love the Schwinn Exercise bike pedals, and use them and the majority of my builds.

That's a beast, needs a 80cc on that baby
