80's... 70's... 60's... 50's... Prewar!

I basically joined this forum so I could post a congrats to "buildin with dad" And because I decided to build a cool towny... I thought I get and 80s schwinn and do a couple things to it. Nah... I'll get a 70's schwinn and trick it modern style. 60's... 50's... So I ended up with a Prewar DX and my plan is to build it up in the Klunkerz style... with my own take. So far I've just taken off the fenders and put on a beefy seatpost. B17 goes on today. I've managed to find and Sachs Automatic Hub (should get here any day now) and the plan is to go modern on the drivetrain... BMX on the bars and stem. Clean and modern on the wheels—powder coated cream. Not touchin' the frame.
