[Rat Rod]

This one popped up for $20 last night on FB and was about 15 minutes away.

The bars are what caught my attention. Was glad the forks turned out to be straight and not curved...was hard to sell in the photo. The wheels are nice too, although a little oxidized. They've got the nice Shimano rear coaster hub. Apparently the seller took the bike to a shop several years ago and they swapped out the grips, tires and seat. She said that she rode it one or two times after that and then it hung.

Will be a great parts bike for a different frame.

Perhap you should enter the underrated girls bike build off and build a girls strandie....

Unfortunately the steer tube on this fork is pretty short compared to most of the frames I have on hand.

This may actually be the route I take with this bike. It rides really nice as is...just needs to be cleaned up a bit and streamlined.

I picked up a girls cruiser with a nice akisu fork a few months ago and it had the way short steer tube also.

Gave it a quick bath and yanked off the fenders. Will eventually clean up all of the chrome and repack all of the bearings.
