I don't know...that's a good question. I'm the kind of guy that gets impatient and frustrated easily and when that happens the fun is gone.

Thankfully my graphic design skills have been helpful in getting me trades for wheel building services. :lol:

I thought your "Monk" side would find solace in building a wheel. Though building a rear may be difficult if any dish is required.

That and I don't have a truing stand.

I still may have to give it a shot one day for grins...but not on $250 hubs...ha ha!

I don't either but I have built MANY wheel sets including a twist spoke set and they are perfectly true. I use an old set of forks and a jack stand or install them in the frame and adjust them by precision eyeball.
