I have an old mongoose mb from 1985 i bought brand new it was like 300.00 and it's chrome 18 speed. I challenge Steve to a wheelie compatition.

I've got to guess that they were at least $300, but I'm no expert on the MTBs.

Yeah...it's a good reference point for sure.

No plans to sell it for a while..I'm keeping it at my office for mid day rides.

The church is located in a neighborhood so I've got streets to cruise on.

Thanks for the compliments guys....honestly though, it was pretty clean from the get go.

I just added some silver aluminum bear trap pedals and now she looks complete.

I really like the way this bike rides and love the SIS shifters that pop it into gear with a click.

Will have to practice those wheelies....throw it in low and you can ride for a mile on one wheel. :mrgreen:
