I have a rigid carbon adventure bike I built four years ago, it’s great, 26 x 2.8 tires. I also have one that I use for riding around in the spring when it’s slushy and salty. It’s junk so I don’t care about it. I ride it out in the country when there is still a lot of ice so I keep lengthening and changing my route as it melts off. I go on all day exploration rides. Sometimes it’s nasty that time of year. The brakes and drive train gets packed wit slush ice.
