I got this diamond frame bike as a gift today. It is a simple locally built bike. One speed coaster hub, cotterpin cranks... But it is a nice 26" frame in pretty silver. I have a 7 sp nexus I will try to install... I should have a drum brake front wheel... I have a few stems to try or might convert... Not sure if the rack and the fenders stay.

Yes, there should be. If you take it apart and tell me the inner diameter and if it is threaded or press fit i can help you finding one. I can even order it and send you by post.

I say keep the mudguards at least and depends on how utilities minded you want the bike to be for the rack, I used to always remove mudguards but that's because I live in sunny climate and don't do much winter riding anymore but as I get older I let the bike tell me what it wants and if it suites mudguards then it shall keep mudguards

Thanks for the offer, I left that bike aside for now. Last weeks have been stressful, work related, but it all worked out great in the end.
I apologize for the late reply, I was hoping to start disassembly so I can tell you the details and the days just went by.
