A sign of the times ( past )

This dealership sign had been listed on ebay several times with different starting prices and a reserve price. I kept watching it until the price dropped and the reserve went away. It was a local pick up only item and being only 40 or so miles away I bid $60.00 at the last minute and was the only bidder.
The photo with the bike gives an idea of the size of this beast, time to clear some room on the garage wall.

I am glad someone got it. I saw it on there too. I was a couple hours away from the sign and I thought about buying it. But I remembered that I have a huge 8x10 schwinn sign that I traded a couple tandems for a couple years back. Cool sign and nice pick up. Matt

Cool find ..Does it light up ? I have a bunch of Banners Schwinn ..Raleigh Diamondback and a few more ...To bad I ran out of wall space or they would be up on em... :wink:

Throw a couple of cheap flourescent shop lights behind it, on heck of a night light for the garage, hehehe...
