A thing of beauty.....

......I know it's only a seat :mrgreen: A friend of mine restored this and it's going on my recently acquired Schwinn B6. As far as I can tell the only non-correct parts on it is the seat and the rear reflector......still need the reflector if any one has one. Anyways it's a nicely recovered Messinger DELUX B1 in a complimentary color :wink:







The Schwinn it's going on........has some kind of late 50's Huffy style Troxel on it in the photo.

That's an early model B1 seat. You can tell because the springs wind up opposite from each other. On the later ones, the springs both wound the same way. Nice seat, nice bike, it's a great summer! Gary

Looking for the one that goes on the fender. Don't need the deluxe one with the chrome housing.....just has one hole in the fender.

Yea, it is one of Tom's. His seats are excellent......shame he doesn't do them very often.
