this was originally in the offroad build off but ue to work picking up and things beyond my control i had to withdraw from the buildoff.
with that being said, i have mvoed the build over to here instead of in the buildoff.
it started life as a 90's schwinn hurricane mountainbike. i have removed all gears and swapped the seat and bars aand maaged to swap the front sprocket with asingle speed occ sting ray sprocket it looks good imo and seems to function ok.
next step is swapping the chain with the occ chain and shortening to length i need.
i am also going to be getting a set of single speed weels for it and still want some fat tires i would like to run some 4 inch maxxis tires but if they do not fit i will use 3 inch with a deep tread.
as far as paint i have an over ubundance of white paint so it will most likely be white.
gonna try to write the lyrics of motorheads ace of spades on the bike somewhere as well.
