Goodluck nice to know,I'm not the only late starter... :D Hope you get it finished in time...

Re: aciete blanca

Plenty of time! I am the worlds biggest procastinator and i think i will get done.
I was self taught that the best time to do something was your last chance!
Thats a nice frame!

Re: aciete blanca

Just don't forget to show some of the progress photos (RULE #5).
The build off is much more than before and after photos. It's about the process and sharing that with each other.
Have fun!!!!

Re: aciete blanca

I actually got to work on it yesterday. I was able to squeeze a 1 1/8 threadless headset on the frame.

I recently got a threadless fork from my good buddy bikejunkie and i thought it was going to work well on this build but it ended up being to short. If I had another threadless fork i would have extended this one. :(

The paint on this frame is pretty tough. I had trouble removing it with a wire wheel. I had to use a razor blade to scrape off the layers but didnt finish. hopefully i can be done with it today.

Out of curiosity, how did you get 1 1/8 cups in a 1" head tube without stretching the headtube too much??
I think it was already machined or something because it fit but with a little more trouble than a regular 1 inch headset.
