He's had it listed at the price for months, if not a year. It's On Craigslist Santa Barbara too from time to time. I don't see it selling at that price anytime soon, but hey, can't knock him for tryin I guess
It's a tricky thing. At current rates that's what, 2-3 times the price of an identically equipped, equal condition survivor? For a bike with that much provenance you can use until you're too old to ride? And be able to roll into any show anywhere and drop a freaking H-bomb on just about anything anyone rolls in on? Value is relative.
Can I afford it? No. Would I consider it if I stumbled into a windfall rather than cluttering the garage with 12 $1000 bikes? Probably.
