Not ratty, by any means, but new to me!

My brother bought this Diamond Back several years ago when he started college to get around campus. It didn't take him long to decide that the single speed was no match for the hills on campus. So he took it to my mom's and put it up in the garage where it has sat until he let me have it this week. I loaded it on top of the car and drug it the 500 miles home. I'll post some better pics tomorrow in the daylight.

Here are some more pics of my Diamond Back. It will be good to have around for the kiddos, or if I get the feeling like I need to hurt myself.

The tires have me a bit confused. The front is a 20x2.125 and the rear is a 20x1.85. I thought one may have been replaced, but both are marked Diamond Back. :?

From what i have been told, The reason for the wider front is that you can do a bit of street bmx, then go straight to the dirt. I guess like a 2 in 1 type of deal. Hope that helps!

Nice find. Based on the V-brakes and chain tensioner this is a track/trail bike. Wider tires up front are better under turns, more stable. I have a 2007 Venom. Where i live BMX bikes are easier to come by than any of the bikes on this site. All Walmart beach cruisers.
