I did think about the grips matching the wheels, but for some reason my eyes just want to see matching grips there.

There are a couple of pairs on Ebay that may do the trick...just have to decide whether I want to spend $30 on them. :lol:

I have some "dingy" Hunt Wilde grips, they were the ones on my Higgins before I put on the $60 wood grips.

I've got old Schwinn grips that appear to match your build. Funny I just dug them up the other day and cleaned them up the best I could. Still yellowish/whitish. PM me if interested or you want pics
