On painting the head badge, you can paint the whole thing. Then you just buff the paint off the top of it, anything resessed back will keep its color. Might want to mount it though so it doesn't flex on ya.

another seat mount pick. this stuff takes forever . i took some 3/8" music wire and a top section of a beehive springer that i bout for I think a buck a few years ago thinking i would use it for something. then cut the bottom 1.5" off of a set of junk forks to mount it to the frame.

I hope to get the brake bracket built and the wheels laced tomorrow night. we will see.

I still have to true then up. I just had to have a rim that is snug in the forks and frame as possible.
also as close to the motorcycle rims of the day when the bike was built.

possible seat front mount.

mocking up the rear wheel and sprocket. the clearance is super tight. I need to shim out the sprocket about 2 washers too.

Man you came up with a great bike!!! ...Love the seat placement!..... The fork is too cool for words!.....

The wheels with the super polished Campy hubs fat rims and wide cream tires are off the hook! :!:

All on one of the baddest frames ever built!.... GREAT JOB! you have lots of time to get it done! :mrgreen:

the Aluminaty Has Landed! yes folks there still is hope..... it stands on its own!
this think has got to weight 60+ pounds.
I figured lighter but those wheels N tires and the cranks weight a ton! surprisingly stable springer front end...
tomorrow after work I just need to make a bracket for the brake, a seat adjustment. then a little polishing and details until 8:00 pm.
then some pics and upload them to the finished forum.

wish Me luck!...?....?
