AMC ? Alaska woods find

Another fresh find in the woods! I just got it today , to me it looks like an AMC . If anyone thinks different - let me know .
Has a single red line bendix hub , and a crack or two to weld , but will make a great canvas for some paint I want to lay down..

It does look like an AMF frame to me, but it should have V shaped peaked fenders. Definitely a Huffy chainring. Looks like a prewar Schwinn 'hockey stick' chainguard on there-SCORE! -Adam

A bike in the woods? There weren't any shallow graves nearby, where there? :shock: I found 2 frames once in a ravine in the woods behind an old farmhouse but never have seen a whole bike in the woods. Gary

There are remnants of old dumps , cabins etc up here , when people move away they hardly take all their junk with them . I spend my free time pretty much just taking junk I pick up and trying to do something with it .
